Satura

This work visualizes a state of ecstatic asphyxiation - the paradox of freedom so intense it becomes a new form of captivity. The figure's foggy, pupil-less gaze looks inward, completely absorbed in a single overwhelming sensation. The foggy glass barrier, with its condensation, represents the distorted perception of this inner climate. A translucent lily blooms from her chest - not a symbol of love for another, but the flora of self-consuming desire, glowing with its own heat. The blurred forms and bleached, pearlescent palette convey a loss of self in pure, saturated feeling. "Satura" is the moment when power over one's own desire becomes its total rule over you.
