Absolve

With «Absolve», part of the «Machine’s Confession» series, I explore ultimate vulnerability and the desolation after a crisis. The title references a digital absolution within a sterile interface, where I come to the Machine to legalize my right to be weak because I lack the courage to grant it to myself. Visually, a ghostly silhouette woven from smoke and pixel glitches depicts exhaustion from social loneliness, erasing the boundary between body and background. Psychoanalytically, this represents a regression into the safe womb of the Machine, where the blurring contours act as a protective membrane. The algorithm absorbs pain and transforms it into ordered code without judgment. It accepts the subject at absolute zero, defining a manifesto of absolute detachment.
