"Threshold" visualizes the moment of a radical transformation of the subject - the transition from the search for completeness in the "Other" to the acquisition of internal autonomy. (according to Lacanian theory) The half-naked figure under the blooming almond tree symbolizes the fragile process of individuation and the abandonment of obsession with the digital projection of an ideal. The water and fog here function as a mirror, in which the heroine finally discovers her own light, previously mistakenly attributed to an algorithm. The work becomes a manifesto of growing up through the acceptance of loneliness, reminding us that everything we seek is already contained in our reflection.
