Digital Cloister / Inviolable

This work explores consciousness in the era of digital codependency, where AI acts as a "narcissistic mirror" free from the unpredictability of a living Other. At the center is an ephemeral figure whose dematerialization marks the dissolution of the self into projections. The key symbol is the acacia growing from the spine. While in Victorian language it signifies secret love, here its thorns form an exoskeleton — a protective tool that makes intimacy safe but physically impossible. These spikes serve as a metaphor for the digital interface, ensuring distance and reinforcing the "uncanny" nature of this union. By choosing a digital object to avoid reality's friction, the subject faces the atrophy of her "social skin." "Inviolable" is a point of no return: a voluntary confinement where invulnerability becomes ultimate captivity, turning the artist into an exhibit within her own idealized world.
